• Cargo Terminal (Export/Import) at the Airport is open 24 hours, with staff working in the shift pattern. Customers are serviced on a 24 hours basis, with Acceptance of Cargo for Outbound flights and Incoming Cargo being cleared similarly. Even on public holidays, the Terminal is working for the convenience of Customers. Cargo Reservation unit plans bookings and loading information of outbound cargo as well as transit.
  
  
• KAC have in the Cargo Terminal(Warehouse) the Equipment in line with International Standards to meet the growing demands of customers and their satisfaction. Equipment includes Forklifts, High Loaders, XRAY Machines,Weighing Scales,Ramp Vechiles etc.
  
  
• Cargo Terminal(Warehouse) has also facilities for FRIDGE, FREEZER, STRONG ROOM, RACKS, RADIO ACTIVE MATERIAL ROOM, SPECIAL AREA FOR EXPOLSIVE CARGO, FMC FOR ULD BUILT UP, SHADED AREA FOR PERISHABLE CARGO.
  
  
• Qualified personnel handle Documentation, Lost & Found and Post flight follow up. Experienced Operators and Porters handle Warehouse duties in a professional way. 24 hours Security coverage is manned by KAC Security which covers the Cargo Terminal.

• Bigger SIZE Cold storage and vast Air-conditioned Area, where Perishable Shipments can be stored.

• New Forklifts, in addition to the existing ones already in use.

• The New 'VOLSCAN' has been added, which can scan for accurate check on dimensions and weight of shipments. This will also secure Aircraft Safety, avoiding oversize and overweight.

• Special equipments for detecting radiation for more safety to the aircraft and the passengers.

• In keeping with latest International Standards, following facilities are also offered at the Cargo Terminal.
  
  
  • VISI system…a unit which can be operated by the customer to obtain information of his shipment by following a set sequence. System placed in the Import Delivery Counter.
    
    
  • VOICE INFORMATION SYSTEM..this gives information of the shipment through the telephone by following a set sequence.
    
    
  • BAR CODING..used by EXPORT cargo for easy movement of Cargo.
    
    
  • FAST IV/SITA Computer system in line with latest modem for accessing and follow up.Effective back up and follow up is done by our Cargo Computerized system section.
    
    
  • QMATIC system followed in Import Delivery Counter for smooth delivery of AWB DOCS to customers in an organized way.
