Foreigners can file entry information online pre-arrival in China.

Declaration Steps (5 Quick Steps)
1. Select ID document type → Scan the document’s data page (basic info is auto-recognized)
2. Fill basic details: Name/nationality/flight number (entry city/port will auto-generate)
3. Complete personal info: Contact number/visa policy (e.g., visa-free entry)
4. Enter travel details: Purpose of entry/arrival date/detailed address in China
5. Review information → Sign electronically → Save the generated QR code
Key Reminders & Full Exemption Rules
• No paper form required: After online submission, you don’t need a physical arrival card when entering China.
• 7 Eligible Cases for Exemption (No Declaration Needed):
The following foreign nationals may skip the arrival card declaration (per official rules):
1. Holding a People’s Republic of China Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card
2. Holding a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (Non-Chinese Citizens)
3. Holding a group visa or eligible for group visa-free entry
4. Transiting directly within 24 hours without leaving the restricted area of the port
5. Entering and exiting with the same cruise ship
6. Entering through E-channel
7. Foreign employees of exit-entry transport vehicles (this applies to our Kuwait Airways crew)

China’s unilateral visa exemption policy for Kuwaiti Citizens
Effective from June 9, 2025 till June 8, 2026 - Ordinary passports holders of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Bahrain are eligible to China’s unilateral visa exemption policy.
Nationals of the above-mentioned four countries holding ordinary passports may enter China visa-exempt for business, tourism, family visits, exchanges, visits, or transit, for no more than 30 days.
